It’s morning, you are waking up and the first thing in your mind is: “What’s it going to be today? Which of the problems is going to strike me first?” 

You are constantly putting out the fires, and as soon as you are done with one there’s another emerging. You are juggling tasks and projects, struggling to keep track of who is doing what, overwhelmed by constant questions and updates from your team. 

Deadlines are missed, there’s confusion about responsibilities, and no one is stepping out to do something about it. Opportunities are slipping through the cracks, you struggle to manage current, let alone potential clients, wondering:

"Who reached out to inquire about my services? Was it through a phone call or an email? What exactly were they interested in? Did they need a quote, or were they asking for more information?"

The details blur together, and keeping track of every interaction feels like an insurmountable task. 

Things are falling apart, expenses are up, sales are flat, bank balance is shrinking, team morale is low and you are getting close to the point of burning out thinking: “I’m doing everything I’m supposed to, but things are only getting worse, things are falling flat, I have less money than before.”

All these people working for you - aren’t they supposed to make things easier, and relieve you of the pressure of daily operations? So why are you paying them and what are you getting from them?

None of this makes sense and the thought is emerging: “Maybe I should call it quits, shut it all down, and call my old boss and go back to my old job.” 

Or maybe you are thinking: “It was all much easier when business was small and simple. I could take a few steps back, retreat into the wonderful confines of the growth zone, fire people, and keep it simple until … Well, I’ll see when.”

All this is perfectly normal for entrepreneurs reaching the “make it or break it” point. You can go back, to when you had more money and time for yourself. You’ll make it easier for you but also for your competitors, handing them your market share and most importantly gonna do what you intended in the first place - to make an impact on your customers' lives. 

But if you want to do something meaningful, you’re gonna have to adapt, to change - yourself and your business. 

To survive this flatline you are facing now, you need something new - a new “operating system” to reach the next level for your business.
